Training Course in Kaunas, Ziegzdriai geological trail

On the cold and rainy October 8, we invited everyone who wants to take part in an eco-hike along the geological trail of Žiegždria. We started the hike with an “energizer” and a short story about Activists and the Erasmus+ program. During the hike, we passed through narrow forest paths, and also admired the Kaunas lagoon, fallow deer, and each other’s company. At the end of the trip, we offered the participants hot tea to warm up and snacks. We talked more about the ECO WALKS project (which led to this walk), its goals, emphasizing the two-way connection between sport and landscape, and the activities and results created throughout the project. Great attention was paid to the interactive map and eco cards. We are grateful to everyone who participated and for not being scared by the imperfect weather.
