April Eco-walks in Alicante

On the 1 of April the Ecowalk took place in which we walked the CUMBRE DEL AITANA trail. The Cumbre del Aitana, located in the Sierra de Aitana Natural Park, is one of the most emblematic summits in the Valencian Community and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Mediterranean coast and the mountainous interior. It is relatively easy to access, making it a popular choice for those seeking a rewarding mountain experience in the Alicante region. The hike to the Cumbre del Aitana begins at the Tudons pass, which is approximately 1,000 metres above sea level. From this point, the route follows a well-defined path that will take you through pine forests and scrubland. During the hike, you will be surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and will be able to observe the varied flora and fauna of the area. As you approach the summit, you will notice that the terrain becomes rockier and steeper. However, the panoramic views as you ascend are simply spectacular. You can see the shores of the Mediterranean and, on clear days, even make out the island of Ibiza on the horizon.
