Eco-walks in Alicante

On the 6th of May took place the Ecowalk in which we made the route to the Barranco de Monesillo. The Barranco de Monesillo, located in the Valencian Community, Spain, is a natural paradise for lovers of hiking and scenic beauty. This route will take you through breathtaking landscapes, winding through the ravine and allowing you to connect with nature at its best. In this article, we will explore the charms of the Monesillo Ravine Route. The Monesillo Ravine Route is a non-circular hike that will immerse you in a stunning natural environment. During your walk, you will find yourself surrounded by a variety of native flora and fauna, with the soothing sound of the gorge’s flowing water accompanying you on your journey. The trail, which is moderately demanding, will take you through dense pine and cork oak forests, where you can enjoy the shade and coolness of the surroundings. You will cross wooden bridges that will take you across the ravine and offer panoramic views of the crystal clear waters that flow along the canyon. The route stretches for around 8 kilometres and can take 4 to 5 hours to complete, depending on your pace and the stops you wish to make to enjoy the views and the tranquillity of the place.
